Chinese Arabic Translator

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily oral interpretation for the Chinese management team (meetings, site communication, task directives) to ensure accurate information flow.

• Handle written translation of project documents, systems, reports, and technical literature, ensuring translation quality and terminology accuracy.

• Assist in external liaison and business communication with local authorities, suppliers, and clients.

• Assist in organizing training and meetings, providing on-site interpretation to ensure effective outcomes.

• Organize and archive translation materials and maintain a terminology database to enhance efficiency and quality.

• Complete other project-related tasks assigned and abide by unified team dispatching.

Requirements:

• Fluent in Arabic, English, and Chinese, with excellent listening, speaking, reading, writing, and translation skills for precise two-way interpretation and translation.

• 2+ years of translation experience (engineering, storage, grain, or manufacturing industry experience preferred); familiar with relevant industry jargon.

• Excellent Chinese communication skills, accurately understanding Chinese management's intent and conveying it clearly.

• Proficient in computer operations, office software, and translation tools.

• Responsible, meticulous, with strong confidentiality awareness and strict adherence to professional ethics.

• Strong interpersonal, coordination, and problem-solving skills to manage cross-cultural communication smoothly.

• Strong collaborative spirit to work across teams and accept multi-tasking/multi-role demands.

• Compliant with all provisions under General Qualifications.

Job Location : New Delta in Dabaa for 26 days and 4 days as vaction and we provide housing and meals.

Preferred requirements

Translation experience in grain storage or engineering projects; professional translation qualifications; understanding of local Egyptian Arabic dialect.
