Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Chinese language interpreter for an on-site role located in Al Ain. The interpreter will be responsible for translating verbal and written communication between Chinese and English languages. Daily responsibilities include facilitating conversations, translating documents, ensuring cultural and linguistic accuracy, and maintaining confidentiality in all communications. The role also involves assisting with business-related tasks that require Chinese language expertise to bridge communication gaps effectively.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Chinese and English, including excellent spoken and written communication skills in both languages
• Ability to deliver accurate translation and interpretation services with cultural and linguistic sensitivity
• Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate communication and build understanding in business settings
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and maintain confidentiality during sensitive discussions
• Previous experience as an interpreter or translator is an advantage
• Familiarity with professional or business terminology related to healthcare, construction, and other relevant sectors is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, or a related field is preferred
