Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Chocolate Chef / Chocolatier to join our chocolate manufacturing operation.

The successful candidate will have a strong hands-on background in chocolate production, supported by solid expertise in pastry and confectionery.

The role will focus on product development, recipe creation, production standardization, and maintaining consistent product quality.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and produce a wide range of chocolate, confectionery, and pastry products.

* Develop new products based on market trends, customer requirements, and seasonal occasions.

* Handle chocolate tempering, molding, enrobing, fillings, ganache, pralines, truffles, bars, and chocolate decorations.

* Develop and standardize recipes suitable for commercial and large-scale production.

* Convert recipes from small-scale kitchen trials into efficient factory production processes.

* Establish product specifications, recipes, portion sizes, and production methods.

* Work closely with the production team to ensure consistent quality and product standards.

* Conduct product testing and trials and make improvements where required.

* Support the development of seasonal collections for occasions .

* Ensure products are commercially viable in terms of quality, cost, production efficiency, and market appeal.

* Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, quality, and production procedures.

* Train and supervise production staff when required.

* Work closely with management and the R&D team on new product development.

Required Qualifications & Experience

* Proven professional experience as a Chocolate Chef / Chocolatier.

* Strong practical experience in Pastry and Confectionery.

* Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience in chocolate and pastry production.

* Strong knowledge of chocolate processing and tempering techniques.

* Experience in production-scale chocolate manufacturing is highly preferred.

* Experience in recipe development, product testing, and standardization.

* Good understanding of food cost, yield, production efficiency, and waste control.

* Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

* Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Profile

We are specifically looking for a Chocolatier / Chocolate Chef with strong pastry experience, rather than a general Pastry Chef with limited chocolate expertise. The ideal candidate should combine technical chocolate expertise, pastry knowledge, creativity, and practical factory-production experience, with the ability to develop products that are both high quality and commercially viable.
