Cisco Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Cisco CX Engineer to lead the planning, design, and implementation of enterprise network transformation projects across Saudi Arabia. The role requires strong expertise in Software-Defined Access (SDA), Cisco SD-WAN, Wireless (WiFi), and Routing & Switching technologies. The ideal candidate will be capable of independently leading customer engagements, driving technical discussions, designing scalable architectures, and delivering high-quality implementations aligned with customer business and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead end-to-end Plan, Design, and Implementation (PDI) activities for enterprise networking projects.

· Design and deploy Cisco SDA, SD-WAN, Wireless, and Routing & Switching solutions in complex enterprise environments.

· Conduct customer workshops, discovery sessions, and technical assessments to define business and technical requirements.

· Develop high-level and low-level design documentation, implementation plans, migration strategies, and test plans.

· Perform installation, configuration, integration, migration, and optimization of Cisco enterprise networking solutions.

· Troubleshoot complex network issues during deployment and post-implementation phases.

· Coordinate with customer stakeholders, project managers, architects, and cross-functional technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.

· Ensure adherence to Cisco best practices, security standards, and operational excellence.

· Provide technical leadership during project execution and mentor junior engineers when required.

· Support customer acceptance testing and transition to operations teams.

Required Skills and Experience:

· Strong hands-on experience with Cisco SDA, Cisco Catalyst Center, Cisco ISE, and campus fabric deployments.

· Deep expertise in Cisco SD-WAN technologies including vManage, vBond, vSmart, and WAN edge platforms.

· Solid experience with Cisco Wireless technologies including Catalyst Wireless Controllers, Access Points, RF optimization, and WiFi troubleshooting.

· Strong knowledge of enterprise Routing & Switching technologies including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, HSRP, QoS, Multicast, and network segmentation.

· Experience delivering enterprise network transformation projects independently.

· Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.

· Excellent customer communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in customer-facing environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

· CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure certification preferred.

· CCNP Enterprise certification or equivalent experience required.

· Experience with automation, APIs, and programmability is an advantage.

· Familiarity with security integration and network assurance solutions is a plus.

· Experience working on large enterprise or government projects within Saudi Arabia or the GCC region is preferred.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or related field.
