Civil Construction Manager - High rise towers

Job Summary

The Construction Manager is responsible for managing and supervising all construction activities related to high-rise tower projects, ensuring execution is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and local authority regulations. The role requires extensive experience in main contracting companies handling multi-storey residential, commercial, or mixed-use tower developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage overall site construction activities for high-rise tower projects.

• Coordinate with Project Managers, consultants, subcontractors, and client representatives.

• Monitor project progress against approved schedules and take corrective actions where required.

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, IFC drawings, method statements, and quality standards.

• Supervise site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and workforce productivity.

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety, quality, and progress targets are achieved.

• Review and approve construction methodologies and work sequences.

• Coordinate civil, architectural, structural, and MEP activities.

• Ensure effective resource planning including manpower, materials, and equipment.

• Participate in project meetings and prepare progress reports.

• Resolve technical and construction-related issues on site.

• Ensure compliance with UAE authority regulations and HSE standards.

• Support project handover and closeout activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.

• Minimum 6-8 years handling high-rise tower projects in the UAE/GCC.

• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies for high-rise buildings.

• Experience in managing structural, finishing, and MEP coordination works.

• Proficiency in Primavera, MS Project, AutoCAD, and MS Office.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• UAE driving license preferred.
