Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Civil Construction Manager to lead and manage civil works for energy and infrastructure projects, including substations, power plants, utilities, and industrial facilities. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all civil construction activities across energy and infrastructure projects.
- Oversee execution of works such as foundations, buildings, roads, drainage, cable trenches, and concrete structures.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, project schedules, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with project management, engineering, HSE, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution.
- Monitor construction progress, manpower, and equipment utilization.
- Ensure strict adherence to HSE requirements and company safety policies.
- Review and approve method statements, work plans, and material submissions.
- Manage subcontractors, resolve site issues, and support claims and variation assessments.
- Report construction progress, risks, and issues to senior management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
- 1015 years of experience in civil construction, with strong exposure to energy, utilities, or infrastructure EPC projects.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale civil works for substations, power plants, or utility infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of construction standards, quality systems, and HSE regulations.
- Experience working in EPC environments and managing multiple subcontractors.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
