- salary - 10000-14000 AED (Based on experience )
Role Purpose
Responsible for detailed engineering, procurement, and execution of civil projects in accordance with contract specifications, project budgets, safety standards, and approved methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage civil project activities including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors to execute civil works as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Prepare vendor lists, technical details, quantities, and evaluate quotations (technical & commercial).
- Develop construction methodologies, prepare and obtain approval for method statements.
- Resolve technical issues, guide drafting teams, and ensure timely material and drawing approvals.
- Oversee site execution, quality, progress monitoring, and ensure compliance with inspection and QA/QC plans.
- Record delays, support claim preparation, and assist in mitigation planning.
- Plan and coordinate project commissioning and handover documentation (O&M manuals, as-built drawings).
- Monitor project costs, identify variations, provide valuation inputs, and ensure budget control.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and main contractors.
- Ensure all work follows UAE codes, authority regulations (Dubai/Abu Dhabi Municipality, Civil Defence), and HSE standards.
Key Skills
- Strong civil engineering and construction execution knowledge.
- Experience supervising draftsmen, site engineers, foremen, and subcontractors.
- Good understanding of UAE construction codes, authority requirements, and local market suppliers.
- Ability to read/interpret drawings, prepare reports, and handle contract/quantity surveying standards.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office, spreadsheets, and basic engineering software.
