Job Description
GEO Global Engineering Consultants is seeking a qualified and motivated Civil Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia.
We are looking for a Civil Engineer with strong experience in civil engineering design, site development, infrastructure, technical coordination, and project documentation. The successful candidate will work closely with senior engineers, project managers, clients, contractors, and other disciplines to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and prepare civil engineering designs, drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical reports.
• Perform design activities for site development, grading, roads, pavements, drainage, stormwater, utilities, and infrastructure works.
• Prepare and review civil layouts, profiles, sections, details, and construction drawings.
• Carry out engineering calculations and ensure designs meet project requirements and applicable standards.
• Coordinate civil engineering designs with Architecture, Structural, MEP, and other disciplines.
• Review multidisciplinary drawings and identify potential clashes and design conflicts.
• Review contractor shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, RFIs, technical proposals, and other submissions.
• Assist in responding to technical queries and resolving design and construction-related issues.
• Participate in design coordination meetings, client meetings, and technical discussions.
• Conduct site visits and inspections when required.
• Provide technical support during construction and assist in resolving site issues.
• Ensure civil engineering deliverables are completed within the required project schedule and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code (SBC), applicable Saudi authority requirements, project specifications, and international standards.
• Maintain proper records of calculations, drawings, technical submissions, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with senior engineers and project managers to ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in civil engineering.
• Experience in an engineering consultancy is highly preferred.
• Strong experience in civil design and technical coordination.
• Experience with site development, grading, roads, drainage, stormwater, utilities, and infrastructure.
• Previous experience on Saudi Arabia projects is an advantage.
• Good understanding of relevant Saudi codes, standards, and authority requirements.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Knowledge of other civil engineering design and calculation software is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
