We are currently seeking an experienced
Civil Engineer to join our team for a project in
Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in supervising construction site activities for large-scale projects, with solid knowledge of site management, drawing review, quality control, and compliance with Saudi regulations.
- Supervise and monitor construction site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, timelines, and quality standards
- Review shop drawings and project specifications, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or conflicts with design documents
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, and contractors to address design and construction-related issues
- Approve materials and equipment to ensure compliance with project requirements
- Review project execution plans to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify safety hazards, construction issues, and quality concerns
- Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams, including clarification of specifications and installation procedures
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, including progress updates, change orders, and documentation
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including implementation of safety protocols and incident reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in site engineering or construction management, including at least 5 years in Saudi Arabia
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, codes, and regulations
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
