Civil Fit-Out Supervisor
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily civil modification and renovation activities at site.
- Review approved drawings, specifications, and method statements before starting work.
- Estimation for the proposal
- PTW and TDC creations
- Quality(MSF,MIR,WIR) document submission
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, subcontractors, and other site teams.
- Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and work progress.
- Ensure civil works are executed according to approved drawings and required quality standards.
- Supervise activities such as gypsum/veneer/glass partition screeding, flooring, tiling, waterproofing, painting, ceiling works, and other modifications.
- Coordinate demolition and modification work while ensuring proper safety procedures.
- Inspect completed works and identify defects or areas requiring rectification.
- Maintain daily progress reports and provide updates to the project management team.
- Coordinate material requirements and ensure materials are available at site when required.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure work is completed as per schedule.
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, site rules, and approved risk assessments/method statements.
- Coordinate with MEP teams to avoid conflicts between civil and MEP works.
- Attend site inspections and coordinate with consultants/client representatives when required.
- Support quantity measurements, material inspections, and preparation of work-related documentation.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working conditions at the site.
- Resolve day-to-day site issues and report major technical or construction issues to the responsible engineer/manager.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- Relevant experience in civil modification, renovation, fit-out, or maintenance projects.
- Good knowledge of civil construction methods and materials.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
- Good manpower and subcontractor management skills.
- Knowledge of HSE and quality requirements.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and basic MS Office is an advantage
