JASARA PMC is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the position of Civil / Geotechnical Engineer. As a member of our team, you will be integral to the success of our projects, focusing on the analysis, design, and implementation of geotechnical and civil engineering solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in geotechnical engineering principles, soil mechanics, and the latest technologies in geotechnical analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct geotechnical investigations, analyzing soil and rock properties to inform design decisions
- Prepare geotechnical reports and recommendations for project planning and execution
- Design foundations, retaining structures, and other civil engineering works in compliance with industry standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate geotechnical solutions into overall project designs
- Perform site inspections and monitoring of geotechnical works during construction
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle
- Provide technical expertise and support in resolving geotechnical issues that arise during project execution
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in civil and geotechnical engineering
- Strong knowledge of soil mechanics, foundations, and relevant codes and standards
- Proficiency in engineering software used for geotechnical analysis (e.g., PLAXIS, GeoSlope)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
