Our client is an international engineering consultancy firm with a strong presence in the UAE, including Abu Dhabi and Dubai offices.
About the Role
Responsible for maintaining quality, safety, and compliance of civil works while supporting project engineers in delivering projects according to standards and timelines.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect civil works on site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor construction activities (concrete, earthworks, finishing, infrastructure works).
- Conduct material checks and site tests (slump test, compaction, etc.).
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and local authority requirements.
- Prepare daily inspection reports and document site observations.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve site issues.
- Report non-compliance and recommend corrective actions.
What are we looking for
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 35 years of relevant site inspection experience.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and QA/QC procedures.
- Familiarity with UAE standards and authority regulations preferred.
- Good reporting and communication skills.
