We are seeking an experienced Civil Inspector with a strong background in steel structures, warehouses, and industrial projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all civil and structural works are executed in compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site inspections for civil, structural, and finishing works.
- Monitor construction activities related to steel structures, Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB), warehouses, and industrial facilities.
- Verify that works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, BOQs, specifications, and project requirements.
- Review and verify shop drawings, method statements, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams to resolve site-related issues.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, site records, and quality documentation.
- Check alignment, levels, dimensions, and workmanship of foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and steel structures.
- Monitor adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements.
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a Structural/Civil Inspector.
- Proven experience in:
- Building construction, Steel structure, Warehouse and industrial facilities projects
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, quality procedures, and inspection practices.
- Experience working with engineering consultants is highly preferred.
