Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

Provide technical support to ensure the optimum reliability, availability and technical integrity of all Civil and Structural installed in his area of responsibility. Provide civil engineering advice and assistance, review and endorse civil engineering design packages. Promote technically sound and cost effective approaches, consistent with the company operating requirements and safety standards. Custodian of the assigned Civil Asset Master Plan.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. Provide professional engineering advice and technical expertise for SASREF business units and departments to support project development, engineering studies, SD/TA plans and activities, I&R improvement programs.
  2. Develop, monitor implementation and revise civil asset maintenance strategies to ensure and enhance the integrity and reliability of plant assets.
  3. Provide technical information and advice to support project design and Provide technical authority approval for the design changes.
  4. Update and maintain the engineering library and archives and plant related documentation (to AS BUILT), to maintain the integrity of the engineering drawing systems, related documentation and provide support to the business units.
  5. Provide MCP Department with technical support by providing/reviewing scope of work and monitoring execution of contract to ensure competent contract services are acquired and executed.
  6. Provide relevant information and advice to support the development of a sound departmental business plan.
  7. Ensure the business processes and work activities, relevant to position, are executed in compliance with SASREF policy, procedures and best practice to achieve the business objectives in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner.
  8. Lead, motivate, develop and assess the assigned team to achieve business objectives and grow capability.
  9. Develop and keep up the custody of the Civil Master Plan
  10. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the direct manager.

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 12 years relevant experience.

  • Ensure that measures to protect personal safety and well-being are always in place and that personal actions do not jeopardize the safety and well-being of others.
  • Adhere strictly to all IOWs, Safe Operating Procedures, and Safe Work Instructions - thus preventing potential WPS and PSM incidents at all times.
  • Always comply with the SASREF HSE Policy, the 5 Safety Principles and 8 Life Saving Rules.

Performance Indicators:

  • No personal injury or injury to a third party.
  • No WPS or PSM incident caused.

Cybersecurity:

Description:

  • Maintain SASREF's cybersecurity by implementing security best practices.
  • Adhere strictly to all cybersecurity requirements while dealing with SASREF's assets and data
  • Comply always with SASREF's information security policies.
  • Performance Indicators: Reporting all suspicious emails including the phishing tests.
  • 0 Failure to the phishing campaign tests.
  • 100% Completion of the assigned cybersecurity awareness courses.
  • 0 Cybersecurity violation or negative behavior.
