CIVIL / FIT-OUT PROJECT ENGINEER

We are looking for a Civil/ Fit-Out Project Engineer to work across multiple projects in Dubai.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Interpret and apply designs to site layouts for various projects.
• Collaborate with architects, subcontractors, and supervisors to ensure site security, safety, and resource management.
• Offer technical guidance to subcontractors and workers.
• Review plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy.
• Maintain compliance with specifications for materials and work.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, and relevant parties for progress updates.
• Manage site operations, labor, and subcontractors.
• Ensure quality control and adhere to safety standards.
• Handle unexpected technical challenges and troubleshoot issues.
• Proven experience in high-end interior design finishing.
• Coordination skills in MEP trades.
• Strong multitasking and project management abilities.
• Effective time management for multiple projects.
• Problem-solving skills and client-oriented approach.

Additional Duties:

Secure local authority approvals.

Communicate with clients, consultants, and local authorities.

Coordinate with suppliers and team members.

Prepare project schedules and method statements.

Oversee material usage, production, and quality control.

Propose innovative solutions to save resources.

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years experience as a Civil/Architecture Engineer for a fit-out contractor.
• Degree in Civil/Architecture Engineering.
• Fluent English communication (verbal/written).
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and raw materials.
• Proficiency in leadership, reporting, MS Projects, and construction practices.
• Strong planning skills with attention to detail.
• Responsive and organized nature.
