Role Description
Mission
Perform technical tasks assigned by Discipline Leader or Specialists, related with drafting, modeling and designing
activities, estimation of civil and steel works, checking of deliverables with the main target to operate in compliance with
Project requirements, time schedule and quality standards
Ensure interfaces with the Project Specialists and Designers both in his department and the other engineering departments
Ensure interfaces with activities performed inside or outside the Company
Tasks
The Designer executes the activities within his area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE
Requirements
Tasks include:
A-Development Technology know how and Commercial support
Provide technical suppor t
B-Feasibility
Provide technical support
C-Bidding phase/Commercial proposal development
Prepare list of deliverables and developed sketches for studies
Prepare material quantities (BOQs) and weights (MTOs) estimation
D-Pro ject Execution (Job progress and completion)
Set up and execute assigned activities related to production of drawings and assessment of quantities in accordance with
project requirements and milestones
Prepare sketches for studies and pre-design of civil and structural works, pursuing objectives of sound design practice and
optimises in term of costs, fabrication simplicity and safety
Prepare detailed BOQ for civil works and MTO for steel structure
Ensure proper quality checks of all Discipline project deliverables issued by subcontractors inside or outside the Company
Coordinate drafting activities developed inside and outside the Company
Maintain and update documentation list
E-Construction and start up
Provide support field engineering at sit
