Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Dubai for a Civil Structural Designer. The role involves preparing detailed civil and structural engineering designs, developing plans for steel structures and refinery-based projects, and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure project requirements are met. The Civil Structural Designer will analyze project specifications, identify structural solutions, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. The role also involves coordinating with regulatory bodies for approvals and contributing to technical documentation and project reports.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with a strong understanding of project requirements and industry standards
• Experience in Structural Engineering, including the analysis and design of steel structures
• Knowledge specific to refineries and the development of related structures
• Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and best practices in construction and engineering
• Proficiency in engineering software and tools for drafting and design
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience working on projects in the UAE or other regions with similar regulatory requirements is a plus
• Must be an Arabic speaker
• Arab nationality preferred
