About the Role
Execute scheduled maintenance & repair works of all Civil Engineering Services including masonry, carpentry, painting, roofing & infrastructure services within the assigned operational area. Coordinate and control day to day operation of the workshop / jobsite under instruction from the supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Prepare daily job allocations for the reporting team and sent to Operations on previous day for next day's scheduling.
- Organize required parts & materials and arrange to deliver to worksite on time.
- Provide hands-on support for major rectification works when required.
- Complete daily work orders and submit to Supervisor for verification / approval as required.
- Submit day's progress summary report to Supervisor.
- Submit actual daily time allocation sheets of reporting staff to operations for MAXIMO entries.
- Responsible for cleanliness of vehicles, coordinating and submitting daily vehicle log sheets of assigned vehicles to Admin.
- Prepare cost estimates for variation works when required.
- Attend 24/7 standby duty as per duty roster.
- Carry out land and marine based work within the boundaries of the UAE.
- Assist in condition surveys / snagging works of all Civil Engineering Services when required.
- Comply with companies EHS & Q regulations.
- Guidance and mentoring of all direct reports.
- Liaise with clients, end users, suppliers & contractors as required in the execution.
- Carry out any other appropriate works as assigned time to time.
- Deputize for the Supervisor in his absence and/or when required.
Qualifications
- 2 year ITI or equivalent is a must and 3 years Diploma in a relevant trade from a recognized institute is preferred.
Required Skills
- Minimum 7 years of experience is a must.
Preferred Skills
- Appointee should have extensive hands-on experiences in one of the Civil Engineering (Carpentry, masonry, painting or roofing) trade and the working knowledge of the other three services and very sound knowledge of all types of materials required for carpentry, masonry, painting & roofing works.
