Job Description
We are looking for experienced
Civil Team Leader to join us in
Tawuniya Inherent Defect Insurance (IDI) Project within the scopes:
- Lead and manage a team of inspectors to ensure compliance with project specifications, Saudi Building Codes and international standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to inspection teams to maintain high-quality standards.
- Review project deliverables and evaluate outcomes to ensure alignment with specifications and quality standards.
- Promote best practices and continuous improvement within the team.
- Ensure timely delivery of reports and documentation from the team as per client requirements.
- Responsible for inspection and testing of buildings according to Saudi building codes and international.
- Issuing reports and documentation of findings and comments in accordance with Saudi building codes and international standards.
- Provide technical guidance and feedback to inspection team to maintain quality standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of civil engineering, industry standards and regulations especially Saudi Building Code and International Standards.
- Describe and assess technical problems and develop proposed solutions.
- Follow up with inspection team regarding reports and inspections.
- Conducting inspections of construction sites to verify compliance with Saudi Building codes.
- Handle reassignment of responsibilities during emergency leaves to maintain workflow continuity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
- Saudi nationality with 57 years of experience in civil engineering projects, specializing in inspection, supervision and construction activities
- Proven experience in Saudi Code and strong knowledge of international standards (ASTM, ACI, BS).
- Preferred experience in IDI program
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong knowledge of civil and structural works, including foundations, concrete, steel structures and finishing works.
- Well-founded and practice proven professional and sector experience in industrial and residential construction.
- Ability to prepare detailed technical reports and documentation.
- Fluent in English language.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and site safety practices.
- Strong communication and coordination skills with a team.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
