Job Description

Are you ready to lead claims for a growing Lloyd's Syndicate in Dubai, UAE

We're seeking a dynamic and technically strong Claims Manager to take the lead on Sukoon's Syndicate 2880 platform, replacing prior part-time oversight with full-time, strategic claims leadership. This market-facing role is central to shaping the syndicate's claims operations, broker relationships and large loss strategy across a fast-growing portfolio.

What You'll Do:

  • Act as the link between Sukoon's internal claims teams and underwriting leadership, ensuring full visibility, alignment and escalation of strategic matters.
  • Lead operational implementation of all Lloyd's handling principles, including SLA adherence, audit compliance and technical referrals.
  • Engage directly with brokers and reinsurers across all international markets, reinforcing the claims service as a commercial differentiator.
  • Oversee large loss reporting and CAT claims coordination, providing high-quality MI and syndicate reporting to the Managing Agent, underwriters and Lloyd's.
  • Drive governance and compliance initiatives, partnering closely with the Managing Agent on all training, attestation and audit deliverables.
  • Take charge of building out a claims team over the next 12 months, shaping a scalable function capable of handling >1,000 claims annually.

Who You Are:

  • 5–7 years of experience in the Lloyd's or London syndicate market (claims adjusting, technical handling, or operations).
  • Preferably with a strong technical focus on Property (including PVT) with an understanding of Marine lines.
  • Passionate about delivering a market-leading claims service and strengthening broker relationships through timely, commercial and fair claims handling.
