About the Project: The SCSP-ICS project facilitates strategic partnerships between industrial corporates and climate startups to drive green transformation. We are looking for an international expert to guide startups in technical advancements and ensure their solutions align with industrial needs and global standards.
Job Description: This expert will support the implementation of work packages related to startup technical qualification. Key responsibilities include guiding startups in implementing technical roadmaps, facilitating partnerships with corporates and R&D institutions, overseeing technical support, and providing advisory on intellectual property rights. The expert will act as a focal point for selected startups on technical matters and advocate for project objectives externally.
Qualifications
- Education: Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Innovation Management, or a similar engineering-focused degree.
- Language: Fluent in English (C2).
- General Professional Experience: 7+ years in industrial technology transfer, industrial R&D collaboration, or industrial process/product development (consulting or permanent position).
- Specific Experience (5 projects in last 5 years):
- 3+ projects in industrial technology development/transfer optimizing environmental performance (e.g., resource-efficient, cleaner production).
- 2+ projects in R&D collaboration for improved environmental performance in industrial production.
- International Experience: 5+ years in industrial technology development or R&D collaboration outside the MENA region.
- Regional Experience: 1+ year in industrial technology development or R&D collaboration in the MENA region.
- Other: 3+ projects in the last 3 years advising on intellectual property rights in corporate, startup, or R&D contexts.
