KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Planning, organizing and prioritizing workloads and leading a small group or department/section level projects
- Gathering requirements, creating, maintaining and updating documentation for projects/solutions assigned.
- Informed about all components of orders and clinical documentation.
- Participating in the facility committees to determine training needs and clinical related areas of improvement.
- Assesses policies, procedures, processes and workflows and makes recommendations to enhance efficiency within the given clinical system framework.
- Prepares detailed business requirements documentation as needed.
- Communicates as needed with venders and implementation partners to facilitate work as required.
- Acts as a point of contact and coordinator between the clinical and other support functions.
- Coordinating the development and maintenance of training manuals, user guides and providing general clinical systems related training to ensure simple and quick problem diagnosis and resolution.
- Performing operational tasks as needed for the clinical systems.
- Training end users on clinical system as requested.
- Developing custom reports as requested by departments, sections and business owners.
- Must have in-depth knowledge on all clinical systems and applications as a super user.
- Providing end-user application support, application installation and configuration for end-users.
- Conducting trial runs of clinical programs and clinical software applications.
- Responding to verbal and written enquiries in a timely manner.
- Providing technical expertise in EMR system analysis and support and delivering solutions to simple.
Professional/Academic Qualifications:
Degree or equivalent in Healthcare (Nursing, Medicine or other
clinical IT discipline.) or relevant fields.
3+ years of experience in Clinical systems specialist role.
Experience in healthcare industry.
