Job Description
Assess the nutritional needs of patients through clinical evaluation, dietary history, and laboratory results.
Develop individualized meal plans and nutrition programs tailored to patients medical conditions and lifestyle requirements.
Provide nutrition counseling and education to patients, families, and caregivers.
Monitor patient progress, adjust diet plans, and document outcomes in line with clinical standards.
Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Support patients with chronic illnesses such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, gastrointestinal disorders, obesity, and malnutrition.
Guide patients undergoing specialized treatments (e.g., oncology, renal therapy, pediatric care) with appropriate dietary management.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards.
Stay updated on evidence-based nutrition practices and emerging dietary guidelines.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field.
Valid UAE license/registration as a Dietitian or eligibility to obtain one.
Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition, therapeutic diets, and medical nutrition therapy.
Excellent communication and counseling skills.
Ability to work effectively with both adult and pediatric patient groups.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
