EPSF Azhar Assiut is a non-governmental, non-profitable organization founded in 2003, representing pharmacy students and recent graduates at Al-Azhar University in Assiut. As a part of the Egyptian Pharmaceutical Students Federation (EPSF), the organization provides a platform for professional and personal development through various initiatives. Notably, EPSF Azhar Assiut organized ICNHBAS in 2015 and spearheaded a groundbreaking hepatitis C campaign in Assiut in 2016, which focused on awareness, diagnosis, and treatment. The organization is dedicated to empowering pharmacy professionals and improving public health through education and advocacy.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Alexandria, Egypt, for a Clinical Pharmacist. The Clinical Pharmacist will be responsible for providing patient care through pharmaceutical advice, medicine management, and ensuring the effective use of medications. Additionally, the role includes compounding medications, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and implementing pharmaceutical care plans to enhance patient outcomes. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of pharmacy practices and contributing to quality improvement initiatives will be central to this position.
Qualifications
- Solid expertise in Pharmacy Practice and Pharmaceutical Care
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Pharmacy, Medicine, and Compounding
- Ability to implement effective pharmacy and medication management strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with healthcare teams
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to optimize patient care
- A bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or a related field, with a valid license to practice as a pharmacist
- Prior experience in clinical or hospital pharmacy is an advantage
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development
