We are looking for Technical Designers / Garment Technologists who will play a key role in ensuring the technical development, fit, and quality of our collections across multiple product categories.

This role sits at the intersection of design, product development, and production. The person in this role will work closely with designers, buyers, and suppliers to translate creative concepts into technically sound, production-ready garments.

Working from development samples through to pre-production approval, the Technical Designer ensures that garments meet our standards for fit, construction, and manufacturability while supporting fast and efficient product development cycles.

The position is suited for someone with strong technical expertise in garment construction and fit who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative retail environment.

While the role remains highly hands-on with product samples and technical specifications, its primary responsibility is to ensure that garments move efficiently from concept to production with the right balance of quality, cost, and speed.

In addition to several generalist Technical Designer positions, we are also looking for a specialist with deep expertise in lingerie and intimate apparel construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Review development samples and ensure garment construction aligns with design intent and production feasibility
• Lead and participate in fit sessions with design and product teams
• Analyze garment measurements, grading, and construction details
• Provide clear and structured fit comments and technical corrections to suppliers
• Ensure consistency of fit and quality across all sizes and product categories
• Collaborate closely with suppliers, designers, buyers, and production teams throughout the product lifecycle
• Support the preparation and maintenance of technical documentation and development packs
• Work with suppliers and factories to resolve technical issues during sampling and production
• Ensure technical standards for quality, cost efficiency, and manufacturability are maintained

Profile Requirements

• Strong experience in garment technology, pattern making, product development, or technical design
• Experience working with retail brands, manufacturers, or suppliers in the apparel industry
• Solid knowledge of garment construction, fit, and technical development processes
• Ability to evaluate samples and provide clear technical feedback to suppliers
• Comfortable working in cross-functional teams with designers, buyers, and production teams
• Strong attention to detail and product quality
• Ability to manage multiple styles and development timelines in a fast-paced environment
