Role Summary
The Cloud & Systems Administrator is responsible for the administration, security, availability, and optimization of multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Huawei Cloud, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure), Microsoft 365 (Office 365), and onprem / cloudhosted Windows and Linux servers.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Platform Administration (AWS, Azure,Huawei Cloud, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure)
- Provision, configure, and manage cloud resources including compute, storage, networking, and managed services.
- Design and maintain secure cloud architectures using best practices (VPC/VNet, subnets, routing, security groups, NSGs).
- Implement identity and access management (IAM) policies, roles, and leastprivilege access controls.
- Manage and support AWS services including Lambda, RDS, and Bedrock, ensuring scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
- Develop, deploy, and maintain serverless workloads using AWS Lambda.
- Administer AWS RDS (backup, patching, performance tuning, high availability, and security).
- Support AWS Bedrock use cases including access configuration, security controls, and integration with applications (as applicable).
- Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, security posture, and cost optimization.
- Implement backup, disaster recovery, and highavailability strategies.
- Perform cloud migrations (liftandshift, replatforming) and ongoing optimization.
- Automate provisioning and configuration using scripts and Infrastructure as Code (where applicable).
- Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements.
Microsoft 365 (Office 365) Administration
- Administer Microsoft 365 tenant including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Manage users, licenses, groups, and rolebased access control.
- Configure and manage Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, including onboarding devices, alert monitoring, and incident response.
- Administer Microsoft Defender for Cloud (security posture management, recommendations, and workload protection).
- Manage Microsoft Defender for Identity, including identity threat detection and investigation.
- Implement and manage security features such as MFA, Conditional Access, device compliance, and zerotrust principles.
- Configure email security, data loss prevention (DLP), retention policies, and compliance settings.
- Support collaboration tools and troubleshoot user issues.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents related to endpoints, identities, and cloud workloads.
Server Administration (Windows & Linux)
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server and Linux server environments (onprem and cloud).
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file services.
- Perform OS & Cloud security hardening, patch management, and vulnerability remediation.
- Monitor server performance, logs, and capacity planning.
- Configure and maintain virtualization platforms (e.g., HyperV, cloud VM services).
- Ensure reliable backups and restoration testing.
Security & Operations
- Implement security best practices across Multi cloud, servers, and Microsoft 365.
- Monitor and respond to security alerts and incidents.
- Conduct regular access reviews, audits, and compliance checks.
- Coordinate with security teams and vendors as required.
- Monitor and respond to incidents.
- Maintain documentation and SOPs.
Operation Support
- Provide Level 2/3 technical support and incident resolution.
- Participate in change management, maintenance windows, and DR drills.
- Maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and SOPs.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers.
Technical Skills
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong handson experience with AWS, Huawei Cloud, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 / Office 365 administration.
- Solid experience with Windows Server and Linux system administration.
- Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls, load balancing).
- Experience with backup, DR, and highavailability solutions.
- Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash) for automation and administration.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Relevant Certifications Are a Plus, Such As
- AWS Certified Administrator / Solutions Architect
- Huawei Cloud Certification
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certification
- Microsoft 365 / Azure Administrator
- Linux or Windows Server certifications
