Job Title: Cloud and Datacenter Expert

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud and Datacenter Expert to design, operate, and manage data centers and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) that support mission-critical smart city systems. The role requires deep expertise in infrastructure architecture, high availability, and operational excellence to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable hosting environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, operate, and manage Tier-III+ data center infrastructure, ensuring high availability, redundancy, and compliance with industry standards.
- Architect, deploy, and manage cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure) to support smart city applications and services.
- Ensure reliability, scalability, performance, and security of cloud and on-prem infrastructure.
- Oversee hybrid cloud environments, integrating data center and cloud workloads seamlessly.
- Implement disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity strategies.
- Monitor infrastructure performance and proactively resolve operational issues.
- Collaborate with smart city solution teams to align infrastructure capabilities with system requirements.
- Ensure adherence to security policies, compliance standards, and best practices.
- Manage infrastructure upgrades, capacity planning, and optimization initiatives.
- Provide technical leadership and documentation for infrastructure design and operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
- Proven experience in Tier-III+ data center design, operations, and management.
- Strong understanding of high-availability architectures, virtualization, storage, networking, and security.
- Experience supporting large-scale or mission-critical systems, preferably smart city, or government platforms.
- Knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures and infrastructure automation is a strong advantage.
