Cloud Architect Section Head

Responsibilities:

• Define and lead cloud and IT architecture strategy aligned with enterprise business objectives.
• Develop and maintain enterprise architecture blueprints across business, application, data, and technology domains.
• Drive adoption of cloud-native and hybrid cloud solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Oversee the creation of solution architectures for strategic projects, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.
• Establish reference architecture, standards, and governance practices across IT and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with business leaders and IT stakeholders to shape technology roadmaps and digital transformation plans.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and internal security policies.
• Support vendor selection, solution evaluation, and contract negotiation processes from a technical standpoint.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 8-13 years of experience in IT architecture, with strong expertise in cloud, networking, Databases and enterprise systems
• Solid background in enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS service models, and security frameworks.
• Strong background in infrastructure modernization, cloud transformation, disaster recovery, security architecture, and integration patterns.
• Experience in pre-sales activities, including solution design, proposal development, and client presentations.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional architecture teams and major transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of IT best practices and governance frameworks, including ITIL & COBIT.
