Cloud Engineer

Role Summary:

Responsible for designing, deploying, and operating cloud infrastructure and platform services with high availability, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and operate cloud infrastructure (compute, network, storage).

Deploy and manage cloud-native and containerized workloads.

Implement automation using Infrastructure as Code.

Ensure security, backup, DR, and cost optimization.

Support migrations from on-prem to cloud.

Monitor systems and resolve production issues.

Technical Requirements:

Strong Linux administration.

Cloud services: compute, VPC/VNet, load balancers, IAM, storage.

Containers and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.

Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent.

Networking fundamentals: DNS, routing, VPN, firewalls.

Monitoring & logging tools.

Scripting: Bash and/or Python.

Cloud Platforms:

Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure, or enterprise/private cloud).

Experience with multi-environment setups (Dev/Stage/Prod).

Experience & Education:

3+ years in Cloud Engineering / Infrastructure roles.

Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or equivalent experience.
