Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Oracle CC&B Technical Architecture Lead to drive the technical architecture, solution design, integration strategy, development standards, and technical delivery for Oracle Utilities CC&B implementations and transformation programs.

The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, functional leads, integration teams, development teams, infrastructure teams, and client architects to design scalable, secure, high-performing, and maintainable CC&B solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Own and define the overall technical architecture for Oracle Utilities CC&B solutions.

Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions and architecture.

Lead technical design for CC&B configuration, customization, extensions, integrations, and interfaces.

Design and review integration architecture between CC&B and external systems such as:

Oracle Utilities MDM

Oracle Utilities WAM

Oracle Utilities Customer Cloud Service

ERP/Finance systems

Payment systems

CRM and customer-facing applications

Metering and other utility platforms

Define integration patterns using REST/SOAP APIs, web services, batch processes, file-based integrations, and messaging frameworks.

Provide technical leadership for CC&B Framework, SDK, Java, Groovy/Java-based development, SQL, and database-related solutions, as applicable to the project.

Review technical designs, development approaches, code quality, and solution architecture.

Establish and enforce technical standards, development guidelines, reusable components, and best practices.

Analyze and resolve complex technical issues related to CC&B functionality, integrations, performance, and production environments.

Lead performance tuning, scalability, availability, and technical optimization activities.

Define application, database, integration, and environment architecture in collaboration with infrastructure and cloud teams.

Ensure appropriate security, authentication, authorization, data protection, and access-control mechanisms are incorporated into the solution.

Support technical architecture for data conversion, migration, interfaces, and deployment activities.

Provide technical guidance during SIT, UAT, performance testing, and production deployment.

Participate in architecture reviews and provide technical recommendations to client and project leadership.

Mentor CC&B technical developers and provide guidance on complex development and integration challenges.

Technical Design Documents

Integration Design Documents

Interface Specifications

Deployment Architecture

Technical Standards

Performance and Scalability Recommendations

Professional & Technical Skills:

Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Utilities Customer Care & Billing (CC&B).

Strong understanding of Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF) architecture and concepts.

Experience with CC&B technical components, framework, business services, service scripts, zones, algorithms, batches, and extensions.

Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE, SQL, XML, JSON, REST and SOAP web services.

Experience designing and implementing enterprise integrations.

Good understanding of Oracle Database, SQL performance, data models, and database optimization.

Experience with CC&B development tools/SDK and technical development frameworks.

Strong understanding of batch processing, online processing, interfaces, and high-volume utility transactions.

Experience with performance engineering, troubleshooting, and production support.

Knowledge of CI/CD, source control, build and deployment processes is desirable.

Experience with cloud-based Oracle Utilities implementations is an advantage.

Additional Information:

• 10+ years of experience in Oracle Utilities, with 7+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Utilities Customer Care & Billing (CC&B) and experience leading technical architecture/design activities.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
