Role Purpose
Design, implement, and operate secure and resilient cloud networking and connectivity services. The role ensures that cloud network architectures support scalability, high availability, security, and cost efficiency across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain cloud network architectures including VPC/VNet design, segmentation, routing, DNS, ingress/egress, and hybrid connectivity.
- Engineer and operate secure connectivity solutions such as site-to-site VPNs, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute, and transit routing.
- Implement and manage network security controls including firewalls, network security groups, WAF, and DDoS protections.
- Automate network provisioning and configuration using infrastructure-as-code tools and reusable modules.
- Improve reliability, availability, and maintainability through resilient designs across regions and availability zones.
- Support capacity planning, performance optimization, and cloud cost optimization initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with cloud platform, security, and application teams through Git-based workflows and structured design reviews.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in cloud networking within AWS and/or Azure environments.
- Solid understanding of routing concepts, network security principles, and API-driven automation.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code and cloud-native networking services.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network and connectivity issues in production environments.
