Key Responsibilities :

Administer, monitor, and maintain MongoDB databases in production and non-production environments.
Design, deploy, and manage highly available MongoDB Replica Set and Sharded Cluster architectures.
Perform database installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and version migrations.
Manage MongoDB Ops Manager for deployment automation, monitoring, backup, and operational management.
Execute backup, restore, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures.
Monitor database health, troubleshoot issues, and optimize database performance.
Perform capacity planning, storage management, and performance tuning.
Plan and execute database migration and upgrade activities with minimal downtime.
Collaborate with application development and infrastructure teams to support database-related initiatives.
Ensure database security, availability, and compliance with organizational standards.
Develop and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
Participate in production support, incident management, and root cause analysis.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills :

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of automation and scripting using Shell, Python, or similar languages.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is an advantage.
Understanding of database security, authentication, authorization, and encryption.
Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
Exposure to enterprise production environments and large-scale deployments.
