Picture yourself brightening someone's day. As a
Cluster Government Relations Officer, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all government-related affairs across multiple hotel properties within the cluster. You will serve as the primary liaison between the hotels and government authorities, ensuring full compliance with labor laws, immigration regulations, and licensing requirements. Your role is essential in supporting operational continuity, maintaining legal compliance, and delivering efficient government services to team members and management
Responsibilities
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
- Manage government relations activities across multiple hotel properties within the cluster.
- Process and monitor employee documentation, including work permits, residency permits, transfers, renewals, and exit/re-entry requirements.
- Coordinate with government authorities and relevant agencies to ensure timely completion of all official transactions.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, immigration regulations, and other governmental requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of licenses, permits, employee documentation, and official correspondence.
- Monitor expiration dates and proactively manage renewals for licenses, permits, and government registrations.
- Support HR and Operations teams by providing guidance on government-related and other procedures and compliance matters.
- Prepare reports and documentation required by management and government entities.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and communicate any impacts or required actions to relevant stakeholders.
- Assist with special projects and administrative tasks related to government relations and compliance initiatives.
