Key Responsibilities of the Cluster Revenue Manager:

• Understand market dynamics and monitor competitor pricing to grow revenue and RevPAR for assigned portfolio.
• Deliver effective pricing and ensure optimal inventory for all revenue streams and market segments.
• Generate revenue forecasts and budgets for all hotels within area of responsibility
• Understand, investigate and extract data from any relevant system needed for problem solving and analysis.
• Embrace and ensure optimization of new systems and tools to maximize revenue Work closely with the Area/Corporate Support Office and the hotel operational teams to ensure aligned direction
• Supports the smooth running of the revenue management department of the hotels, where all aspects of the concerned hotel's reservations and meeting & events enquiries are managed and handled
• Develops and implements strategies where key revenue management metrics are identified, communicated and delivered
• Effectively manages the life cycle of the team within the department, fostering a culture of growth, development and performance
• Responsible for the revenue budget, ensuring that costs and inventory are controlled, that productivity and performance levels are attained
• Builds and maintains effective working relationships with all key stakeholders
• Reviews and scrutinizes the business performance, providing recommendations that will drive financial performance
• Ensures adherence and compliance to all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered and documented for internal and external audit, performing follow-up as required.
  
  

Requirements of the Revenue Manager:

• Proven experience in revenue management with excellent problem-solving capabilities
• 3 years of experience in Revenue Management, Pricing and/or Distribution
• Desirable to be experienced in Hotel Reservation Systems, Revenue Management Systems and/or Distribution / Channel Management Systems.
• Relevant background suggests Bachelor or Master degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Finance or Statistics
• Excellent managerial skills with a hands-on approach and lead-by-example work style
• Commitment to exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry
• Ability to find creative solutions, offering advice and recommendations
• Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence, time and energy
• Experienced in using IT systems on various platforms
• Strong communication skills
