Egypt Education Platform is seeking a dedicated and professional
Co-Teacher to work collaboratively in our dynamic teaching environment for the
Academic Year 2026-2027 at GEMS British International School of Madinaty. This role is integral to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere where all students can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in planning, implementing, and assessing instructional strategies and classroom activities
- Provide support to students in both independent and group work, facilitating a positive learning environment
- Help manage classroom behaviors and promote a culture of respect and cooperation among students
- Communicate effectively with the lead teacher to discuss student progress, challenges, and strategies for improvement
- Contribute to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with specific learning needs
- Participate in professional development sessions and collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices
- Support classroom organization, including maintaining materials and resources, ensuring a safe learning environment
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
- A valid teaching certification or qualification is preferred
- Experience in a classroom setting, particularly in a co-teaching or assistant role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that caters to diverse learner needs
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- Willingness to adapt and respond to the needs of students and the classroom environment
