Position: Painting Inspector
Location: Qatar
Duration: 12 Months (Contract Extendable)
Working Hours: 10 hours/day, 6 days/week
Mobilization: Immediate
Job Responsibilities:
- Inspect and monitor surface preparation, painting, coating, and insulation activities in compliance with approved procedures, specifications, and international standards.
- Ensure proper application of protective coatings and insulation systems for both hot and cold insulation in oil & gas projects.
- Verify surface preparation methods, environmental conditions, paint mixing, application techniques, and curing processes.
- Conduct inspection and testing related to coating thickness, adhesion, holiday testing, and insulation integrity.
- Review and ensure compliance with project specifications, ITPs, and QA/QC documentation.
- Coordinate with client representatives, contractors, and site teams to resolve coating and insulation-related issues.
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality records as per project requirements.
Qualification & Experience:
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in oil & gas projects as a Painting / Coating Inspector.
- BGAS Level 2 or NACE Level 2 certification preferred.
- ICorr Insulation Inspector Level II Mandatory.
- Proven experience in coating inspection and insulation systems (hot & cold).
- Strong knowledge of international coating and insulation standards.
