Job Description

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as Coating Inspector.
  • Experience in Field Joint Coating Application & Repair, including Heat Shrink Sleeve (HSSE) , Liquid Epoxy, Polypropylene,FBE etc.
  • Should have knowledge in surface preparation, cleanliness, test instruments, and satety compliance.
  • Should have experience in conducting non-destructive & destructive inspections
  • Skilled and possess technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities to address issues that arise on the job site and are capable of supervising Basic Coatings Inspectors and Certified Coatings Inspectors.
  • To coordinate with clients and paint makers in terms of inspections and effective communication.
  • To conduct project quality walkthroughs and raise observations if not meet the project quality standards or quality of the work.
  • Inspect surfaces prior to coating to ensure proper preparation.
  • Monitor application of coating to confirm it is done according to the project specifications.
  • Perform tests to ensure coating has adhered properly.
  • Measure thickness of coatings in all stages.
  • Report any defects or inconsistencies in the coating process.
  • Ensure all safety and environmental regulations are adhered to during coating processes.
  • Maintain records of inspections and findings for future reference.
