Role Overview
As a Coffee Machine Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing coffee machines for Illy's product line. The role involves ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering excellent technical support, performing routine checks, and troubleshooting any machine-related issues. This position requires a proactive individual with technical expertise and a passion for high-quality coffee.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and Maintenance:
- Install Illy coffee machines at client locations and ensure they are functioning optimally.
- Conduct regular maintenance to prevent machine downtime.
- Troubleshooting and Repairs:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in coffee machines.
- Respond promptly to service requests and provide on-site solutions.
- Customer Training and Support:
- Provide basic training to customers on the operation and care of the coffee machines.
- Address customer inquiries and provide technical assistance as needed.
- Inventory and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, machine issues, and repairs conducted.
- Manage spare parts inventory and ensure timely procurement of required components.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all machines meet Illy's quality standards before and after installation.
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide feedback on technical matters.
- Health and Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to company safety guidelines while performing maintenance and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer and industry standards.
Qualifications And Experience
- Diploma or technical certification in electrical, mechanical, or related fields.
- Previous experience as a Coffee Machine Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of Illy coffee machines and their maintenance is an advantage.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel to client locations.
