Cohesity Data Protection & VERITAS Engineer

We are looking for a #Cohesity Data Protection & VERITAS Engineerfor our company in Heliopolis, Cairo, Egypt who matches our requirements below:

Responsibilities:

Design, deploy, configure, and manage Cohesity & data protection & VERITAS Netbackup solutions

Perform and maintain backup, recovery, replication, and archiving operations

Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of Cohesity platforms & VERITAS Backup Solutions

Troubleshoot and resolve backup and restore issues

Integrate Cohesity with:

Virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V)

Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Implement data security, compliance, and retention policies

Generate regular reports on backup status and system health

Collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, and Security teams

Apply system upgrades, patches, and best practices

Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience with Cohesity platforms & VERITAS Backup

Strong understanding of Backup, Disaster Recovery, and Storage concepts

Knowledge of Virtualization technologies (VMware / Hyper-V)

Familiarity with Cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Good communication and

teamwork abilities

Cohesity or Data Protection certifications

Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)

Knowledge of Cybersecurity and Ransomware Protection

Experience in large-scale or enterprise environments
