Job Summary

The Collection Specialist is responsible for managing and executing field collection activities to ensure timely receipt of payments from customers. The role involves traveling across different locations to collect cheques, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the company's cash flow by ensuring all dues are collected efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct field visits to customers across various cities to collect outstanding payments and cheques.
  • Ensure timely and accurate collection of receivables in line with company policies.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records of all collection activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to facilitate smooth collections.
  • Follow up with clients on pending payments and resolve any collection-related issues.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to reconcile accounts and update payment status.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and financial controls during collection processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in any relevant field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in collections or a related role (preferably in FMCG).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Valid driving license is required.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel frequently across cities.
