Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Advisor to evaluate and develop high-value commercial opportunities, business models, and investment strategies within the energy sector. The role will support strategic decision-making by assessing commercial viability, market opportunities, and growth initiatives across energy infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the commercial viability of energy and infrastructure investments and provide strategic recommendations.
- Develop business cases, commercial frameworks, and growth strategies for new and existing opportunities.
- Evaluate customer segments, revenue streams, market positioning, and competitive landscapes.
- Analyze commercial agreements, pricing structures, partnership models, and value chain opportunities.
- Conduct market research and benchmarking across relevant industries and regions.
- Engage with customers, investors, strategic partners, and key industry stakeholders.
- Support senior leadership with commercial insights, investment evaluations, and strategic recommendations.
- Contribute to long-term business growth plans and commercial development initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of commercial advisory, strategy, or business development experience within the energy sector.
- Strong experience in infrastructure assessments, business case development, and commercial evaluations.
- Understanding of energy value chains, storage and logistics business models, and commercial agreements.
- Proven experience engaging with National Oil Companies (NOCs), International Oil Companies (IOCs), energy traders, investors, or infrastructure operators.
- Strong commercial, financial, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Experience in European energy markets is preferred.
