Commercial Analyst

Role Description The Commercial Analyst at ENGENHARIA DE TRANSPORTES | UNICAMP will support commercial decisions by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to pricing, revenue, and market performance. In this part-time remote role, the Commercial Analyst will prepare reports and dashboards, track key performance indicators, and provide insights to improve profitability and customer outcomes. Responsibilities include collaborating with commercial and finance teams, reviewing contracts and proposals for financial soundness, and identifying opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth. The role also involves monitoring customer behavior, preparing forecasts, and presenting clear findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative data and translate findings into actionable commercial insights.
• Experience in commercial operations or business development, with a solid understanding of pricing, contracts, and market dynamics.
• Foundational knowledge of finance, including budgeting, forecasting, margin analysis, and basic financial modeling.
• Clear and professional communication skills to present complex information to diverse audiences and collaborate effectively across teams.
• Customer service orientation with the ability to understand client needs, support internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to long-term relationships.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets; experience with BI tools is a plus).
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a remote, part-time setting.
• Relevant academic background in Business, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or a related field; prior experience in transport or logistics sectors is an advantage.
