Role Description
- We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Commercial Director to lead the company's overall commercial operations.
- Based in 6th of October City, this is a full-time on-site leadership role responsible for defining and executing commercial strategies that drive revenue growth, market expansion, and profitability.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, marketing, business development, and trade management within the FMCG sector. You will oversee cross-functional teams, establish strategic partnerships, and ensure commercial excellence across all channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Commercial Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute the company's commercial strategy to achieve growth and profitability objectives.
- Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, distribution channels, and customer segments.
- Lead strategic planning for pricing, promotions, and go-to-market initiatives.
- Align commercial plans with company objectives and ensure strong collaboration across departments.
Business Development & Market Expansion
- Drive business growth through new partnerships, trade agreements, and distribution networks.
- Monitor market dynamics, competitor activity, and consumer trends to support data-driven decisions.
- Lead negotiations with key partners to secure long-term contracts and favorable commercial terms.
Sales & Marketing Integration
- Oversee sales performance, marketing campaigns, and trade marketing activities to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Manage sales budgets, pricing structures, and promotional spending to optimize margins.
- Collaborate with marketing to enhance brand visibility and strengthen market positioning.
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing commercial team across sales, marketing, and customer service.
- Set measurable KPIs and performance targets, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.
- Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and customer-centricity.
Financial & Operational Oversight
- Oversee sales forecasting, commercial budgeting, and profitability analysis.
- Collaborate closely with finance, supply chain, and operations to ensure business efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and legal standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA is a strong advantage.
- Minimum 1015 years of progressive commercial experience in FMCG or related industries, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven record in driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong understanding of distribution networks, trade marketing, and customer management.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, leadership, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and CRM tools.
- Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
