An ambitious and fast-growing client in the event services industry is seeking a commercially driven Commercial Director to lead its next phase of growth across the Middle East.
This is a rare opportunity to shape both the commercial strategy and future direction of
the business by driving revenue growth, strengthening existing client partnerships, and
expanding into new sectors and markets. A key priority will be identifying and
developing opportunities within the live events, experiential, entertainment, sports,
festivals and major events sectors, alongside the company's established portfolio.
The successful candidate will be a strategic leader with a proven ability to open new
markets, win complex commercial opportunities, build high-performing teams and
develop long-term client relationships. They will be expected to challenge the status
quo, identify emerging opportunities and play a significant role in diversifying the
company's client base.
Ideal Background
We're looking for an established commercial leader who has successfully grown
businesses by entering new markets and developing strategic client relationships.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
• 15+ years experience in senior commercial or business development
leadership.
• A proven track record of delivering significant revenue growth.
• Experience expanding businesses into new sectors and markets, rather than
solely managing existing accounts.
• Strong knowledge of the events industry, ideally including exhibitions, live
events, experiential, sports, entertainment or venue sectors.
• An extensive network of senior decision-makers across the Middle East.
• Experience leading high-performing commercial teams.
• Strong commercial acumen covering pricing, negotiations, forecasting and
strategic planning.
• The confidence to influence board-level stakeholders and shape business
strategy.
