Job Description

Position Overview:

The Commercial Leasing Consultant is responsible for leasing office, retail and other commercial spaces, from prospecting and viewings through negotiation, documentation and tenant relationship management, to maximize occupancy and rental income for the property owner.

Key responsibilities

  • Generate and qualify leads through calls, networking, digital channels and broker relationships to maintain a healthy leasing pipeline.
  • Conduct needs analysis with prospective tenants, advise them on suitable units and total occupancy costs (rent, service charges, utilities and other fees).
  • Arrange and conduct property tours, highlighting property features, building services, zoning suitability and parking/visibility advantages.
  • Prepare, present and negotiate commercial lease offers, amendments and renewals in line with company pricing strategy and approval matrix.
  • Coordinate tenant financial and background checks, verify trade licenses and ensure applicants meet the landlord's criteria.
  • Liaise with legal and management to finalize heads of terms and lease agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of enquiries, viewings, offers and deals in the CRM or property management system, and prepare regular leasing reports (occupancy, pipeline, expiries).
  • Work closely with property management and facilities teams to coordinate handover, fitout access, inspections and movein/moveout processes.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor properties, rental levels and incentives, and provide input on pricing and marketing strategies.
  • Support tenant retention by maintaining professional relationships, handling leasingrelated queries and assisting with renewals.

Qualifications and skills

  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Marketing or related field (preferred).
  • 24 years experience in commercial leasing, brokerage or property management, ideally in office or retail assets.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of closing leasing deals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English; Arabic or additional languages are an advantage for Qatar market.
  • Good understanding of commercial lease structures, service charges, and basic real estate finance concepts (yield, ROI, rentfree, fitout contributions).
  • Proficiency in CRM and property management software, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong attention to detail, organization and time management, with the ability to manage multiple inquiries and deadlines
