Commercial Manager Citiscape

About the Role
Citiscape, part of Abunayyan Holding, is seeking a Commercial Manager to manage the commercial aspects of selected projects within our organization. The role is pivotal in ensuring adherence to company policies, maximizing profitability, and maintaining contractual compliance across all assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all commercial aspects of assigned projects, ensuring alignment with company strategies and contractual obligations.
- Monitor, analyze, and follow up on claims and variations to assess their impact on project timelines and costs.
- Coordinate with the Contracts Department to handle variation orders and claims effectively.
- Maintain accurate documentation and registers for all commercial activities and claims.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, planning, QS, procurement, and estimation teams to develop robust commercial proposals.
- Engage with clients and external stakeholders to secure approval for proposals and resolve commercial matters.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (PMP certification preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a commercial management role within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of commercial practices, contract administration, and project management principles.
Skills & Competencies
- Proven experience in contract drafting, reviewing, and negotiation.
- Excellent financial analysis skills for profitability, pricing, and cost optimization.
- Deep knowledge of market trends, competitor behavior, and commercial strategy development.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in managing commercial budgets, forecasts, and reporting.
