Our partner is seeking a highly experienced Commercial (SME) Portfolio Manager to support the launch and growth of a new SME commercial credit card portfolio in the UAE. This is a 12-month engagement with the potential for extension, offering the opportunity to shape a high-impact cards proposition in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead SME customer acquisition campaigns across digital, direct, and partner channels.
- Design and refine onboarding journeys to maximize activation and early spend.
- Optimize pricing, rewards, and product features to enhance profitability.
- Identify underutilized customer segments and drive targeted spend stimulation strategies.
- Partner with sales, operations, credit, risk, and technology teams to ensure seamless card issuance and servicing.
- Oversee onboarding SLAs and ensure strong operational performance across the customer lifecycle.
- Monitor portfolio metrics and produce monthly dashboards and insights for senior stakeholders.
- Track activation, spend, revenue, campaign ROI, and other KPIs to support decision-making.
- Develop and deliver training programs for internal teams and external partners to support SME engagement.
- Support expansion into new SME verticals with tailored value propositions.
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in commercial or SME card product management, preferably within the UAE/GCC.
- Strong experience in SME/commercial card acquisition, onboarding, and activation.
- Proficiency in campaign execution, portfolio analytics (SQL/Excel), and spend stimulation strategies.
- Demonstrated stakeholder management across product, credit, risk, operations, and sales.
- Professional proficiency in English.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with B2B payments and supplier enablement.
- Familiarity with UAE/GCC SME market dynamics and regulatory environment.
- Knowledge of card issuance platforms and onboarding systems.
- Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.
