Role Description The Commercial Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt. This position is responsible for managing commercial relationships with clients, preparing and negotiating proposals, and ensuring competitive pricing and service offerings for Aviary's ground handling and related services. Day-to-day tasks include responding to customer inquiries, coordinating with operations and finance teams, tracking contracts and service agreements, and monitoring market trends to identify business opportunities. The Commercial Specialist will support revenue growth by maintaining accurate commercial documentation, following up on quotations and renewals, and contributing to sales forecasts and performance reports. The role also involves maintaining strong communication with international and local partners, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial, sales, or business development skills in aviation, logistics, or related services, including experience with pricing, proposals, and contract management.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with international and local clients, partners, and internal teams.
• Solid analytical and organizational abilities, including proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfort working with data, reports, and CRM or ERP systems.
• Knowledge of aviation ground services, airport operations, or travel and hospitality sectors, with familiarity in permits, handling arrangements, and coordination services considered an advantage.
• Relevant academic background, such as a bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Aviation Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work on-site in Cairo, handle time-sensitive tasks, and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to identifying commercial opportunities and resolving client issues.
• Professional proficiency in English; additional languages, especially Arabic, are a plus.
