Main Purpose:
The Commercial Specialist will play a critical role in supporting strategic growth initiatives within a healthcare & life sciences environment. The role focuses on evaluating commercial opportunities, structuring complex deals, conducting financial assessments, and generating actionable market intelligence to guide decision-making.
Area of Responsibility:
- Support end-to-end deal structuring for CDMO partnerships, licensing, and manufacturing agreements
- Develop commercial frameworks including pricing strategies, cost models, and revenue-sharing mechanisms
- Support and solve complex client problems through strategic consulting, design and deliver commercial analytics, supported by data.
- Performs quantitative or qualitative analyses to assist in the identification of business & commercial planning issues and the development of specific solutions.
- Structure programmed governance and track, collaborate and support operations and legal teams to align contract terms with business objectives
- Evaluate risk-reward scenarios and propose optimal deal structures
- Responsible for end-to-end project process, working closely with their cross-functional teams and help business to identify, clarify, and resolve complex issues.
- Gather, maintain and analyze market data across therapeutics, biologics, biosimilars, and manufacturing trends.
- Develop, monitor competitor activity, pricing benchmarks, and partnership trends in the CDMO landscape
- Provide insights on demand forecasts, pipeline opportunities, and regional market dynamics
- Strong understanding of crafting and conveying clear, impactful and engaging messages that tell a holistic story through presentations to leadership
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor or Master degree in Business Administration or equivalent
Work Experience:
- 5 years of experience in healthcare consulting space, pharmaceutical companies and/or leading management consulting firms
- Experience in business development, commercial deal structuring and market intelligence in pharmaceutical ecosystem
- Exposure in strong commercial, strategic and business acumen
- Exposure to biologics, biosimilars, or advanced therapies drug product manufacturing
- Experience and Familiarity with regional healthcare markets (e.g. KSA, GCC, Europe, or emerging markets)
