Main Purpose:
The Commercial Specialist will play a critical role in supporting strategic growth initiatives within a healthcare & life sciences environment. The role focuses on evaluating commercial opportunities, structuring complex deals, conducting financial assessments, and generating actionable market intelligence to guide decision-making.
Area of Responsibility:
1- Support end-to-end deal structuring for CDMO partnerships, licensing, and manufacturing agreements
2- Develop commercial frameworks including pricing strategies, cost models, and revenue-sharing mechanisms
3- Support and solve complex client problems through strategic consulting, design and deliver commercial analytics, supported by data.
4- Performs quantitative or qualitative analyses to assist in the identification of business & commercial planning issues and the development of specific solutions.
5- Structure programmed governance and track, collaborate and support operations and legal teams to align contract terms with business objectives
6- Evaluate risk-reward scenarios and propose optimal deal structures
7- Responsible for end-to-end project process, working closely with their cross-functional teams and help business to identify, clarify, and resolve complex issues.
8- Gather, maintain and analyze market data across therapeutics, biologics, biosimilars, and manufacturing trends.
9- Develop, monitor competitor activity, pricing benchmarks, and partnership trends in the CDMO landscape
10- Provide insights on demand forecasts, pipeline opportunities, and regional market dynamics
11- Strong understanding of crafting and conveying clear, impactful and engaging messages that tell a holistic story through presentations to leadership
Educational Qualification:
Masters in Business Administration or equivalent
Work Experience:
1- Experience in business development, commercial deal structuring and market intelligence in pharmaceutical ecosystem
2- Exposure in strong commercial, strategic and business acumen
3- Exposure to biologics, biosimilars, or advanced therapies drug product manufacturing
4- Experience and Familiarity with regional healthcare markets (e.g. KSA, GCC, Europe, or emerging markets)
5- 3-5 years of experience in healthcare consulting space, pharmaceutical companies and/or leading management consulting firms
Required Skills:
1- Strong understanding of Crafting and conveying clear, impactful and engaging messages that tell a holistic story through presentations
2- Advanced excel and commercial modelling
3- Critical thinking and problem-solving attitude
4- Narrative design and executive storytelling.
